Golfland SunSplash is a water park in Mesa, Arizona. This amusement park stays open all year long for miniature golf and some other attractions, but the water slides and other water features are only open in the summer.
Wet 'n' Wild is the newest and biggest of the Phoenix water parks. it opened in the summer of 2009 to capacity crowds, and boasts 30 water attractions. It was built on the property formerly occupied by WaterWorld Safari, another Phoenix water park.
We have fantastic resorts in the Scottsdale and Phoenix area, and many of them have really spruced up the pools to make them more exciting, especially for the younger crowd. If you are thinking about saving on the airfare and gas, and combining a family vacation with a local "playcation", then one of these resorts might be just right for your family.
